This is the X-Series Tactical Light Module (Fixed Position). This light module can be used to replace the existing X-Series Tactical Light Module on our X-Series Tactical Light Modular Systems. Simply connected by a micro usb interface cable, and a few simple hardware components, the light module can be easily replaced with another. This gives the systems user the capability of changing to different illumination colors or options without buying and replacing the entire system every time. This modular system concept makes owning other lights more affordable overall and provides more illumination options directly to consumers.
 
     The "Fixed Position" bracket is attached to the X-Series Tactical Light Module and provides a solid, non-adjustable mounting configuration. This light module is compatible with our "Modular Power System (X-1)". The light module is designed to free float around the barrel and in front of the handguard / forend. This "Fixed Position" setup also provides recessed capabilities, placing the light module into the very front of compatible handguards / forends.
 
     Specific measurements will be needed to use this fixed position setup. A height measurement of 1 inch from the very top of the bottom accessory rail to the bottom of the barrel is needed. There is a tolerance for adjustment of 0.15 inches. Please see the photos to determine the compatibility. If your current setup is not compatible with the current measurement, please see the "Adjustable Position" light module. We have compiled a list of these compatible handguards / forends for recessed compatibility.
 
     The X-Series Tactical Light was developed to reduce or eliminate barrel shadowing and provide an overall increase in illumination coverage for specific applications. These applications range from home defense, cqb applications, room and building clearing, and other defensive applications. With wider and more even illumination for these applications, X-Series goal is to provide the user with better situational awareness.

    Made from a solid aluminum base, each LED is recessed and shielded with a tapered aluminum head. Every LED is optically aligned and encapsulated within a non-conductive, high tensile strength, high heat-resistant compound to maximize circuit protection. We build every unit with durability and quality in mind and provide vigorous testing to every unit verifying it passes overall quality standards. The light module includes the "Fixed Position" bracket and hardware already attached to the module.
